As India is the EU’s newest and potentially most significant alternative trade partners, with relations between the EU and America being very strained.


Therefore, how India has historically treated natural resources in the light of neoliberal economic policy is of key importance today, particularly in the context of recent pronouncements at Davos by Western leaders that neoliberalism in the form of globalisation is now dead, as of the beginning of 2026.
